Club Gallery was founded in 2022 by Art Advisor and Curator, Amanda Baker, with a vision to enliven the South Florida art community, only showcasing Florida artists that are established or emerging. Within each exhibition, the gallery aims to work with the artists and create a series of work with an eye for accessibility. Allowing established artists to engage their broader audience, as well as, create a platform for new or seasoned collectors to discover emerging artists within our community. The gallery encourages understanding and accessibility in contemporary art.

Amanda Baker is a Miami based art advisor and curator with over ten years experience working in New York City and San Francisco galleries. Her goal is to guide beginning art collectors to develop and gain confidence in their own style and tastes when acquiring contemporary art.

While working at Marlborough Gallery in NYC she developed an understanding in the Contemporary Art market. During her time at the gallery, Marlborough Contemporary was formed in Chelsea, New York. The expansion brought along a new dynamic roster that maintained exhibitions by highly sought after emerging and mid-career artists.

Later on in San Francisco, she gained experience in the Bay Area art world. As the Associate Director at Andrea Schwartz Gallery, she came to understand the differences between east and west coast artists, clients, and market trends.

Amanda was born in Mexico City and grew up in the suburbs of New York City. She is fluent in Spanish. She studied Art History and Spanish at Marist College with a minor in Latin American & Caribbean Studies. She also gained experience early on with museums interning at the Frick Collection, as well as The Museum of the City of New York.
