Alissa Alfonso's soft sculptures celebrate the beauty and resilience of nature, while also calling attention to the harm that humans have caused to the environment. Her Nature's Medicine series, made from repurposed found objects, reflects the abundance and waste characteristic of modern life. She meticulously crafts from textile remnants and hand-dyed fabrics to evoke the essence of medicinal plants, fungi, and botanicals.

Emma Ortiz's oil paintings are inspired by the natural world, and tell the story of a newfound spring. Each canvas serves as a personal diary entry capturing the artist's moods and reflections on the world around her. Ortiz draws on a wide range of sources, from textiles and magazines to family lineage and most of all, flowers. She creates an ever-expanding repository of imagery that she uses to paint motifs from nature and imagination.

Together, Alfonso and Ortiz's works capture the ephemeral beauty of the present moment, while also serving as a reminder of the importance of protecting and nurturing the natural world around us. BLOOM promises to be an immersive and enchanting experience, inspired by the alluring and captivating floral world that surrounds us.
